Job Summary

The Artist Salon is looking for an experienced Senior Hair Dresser & Technical Trainer with strong expertise in hair cutting, coloring, chemical services and professional hair products. The candidate will be responsible for training salon staff, supporting technical standards, and providing product knowledge across the salon network.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct technical and practical training for hairdressers and salon staff.

• Train teams in hair cutting, styling, coloring, color correction and chemical services.

• Provide detailed knowledge of professional hair products, their usage, application and precautions.

• Develop and implement technical training modules and salon SOPs.

• Assess staff skills and identify training requirements.

• Conduct refresher and advanced training sessions as required.

• Support new salon openings with technical staff training.

• Visit franchise/company salons when required for training and technical support.

• Stay updated with the latest hair techniques, products and industry trends.

• Ensure consistent technical and service standards across The Artist Salon network.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of professional salon experience.

• Strong expertise in hair cutting, hair coloring and chemical services.

• Excellent knowledge of professional hair-care and chemical products.

• Strong understanding of hair color theory and formulation.

• Previous experience in training or mentoring hairdressers preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to conduct both theoretical and hands-on training.

• Willingness to travel to different salon locations when required.
