Trainer – Insurance Sales (Life Insurance / Health Insurance / Term Insurance)

Job Role

We are looking for an experienced Insurance Sales Trainer who can train, coach, and develop high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Life Insurance Sales Training, product training, telesales coaching, and performance improvement within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and on-floor training for Term Insurance, Life Insurance, Health Insurance, ULIPs, Retirement Plans, and Investment Products.

- Deliver induction training for new hires and refresher training for existing sales teams.

- Train advisors and telesales executives on sales techniques, objection handling, customer need analysis, and closing skills.

- Design and update training content, SOPs, presentations, role plays, assessments, and learning materials.

- Monitor trainee performance through mock calls, live call audits, quizzes, and coaching sessions.

- Identify skill gaps and implement structured improvement plans to increase sales conversions and productivity.

- Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, compliance standards, and insurance regulations.

- Collaborate with Sales Managers and Team Leaders to improve team performance and achieve business targets.

- Track training effectiveness using KPIs such as conversion ratio, quality score, productivity, and knowledge assessment.

- Stay updated with new insurance products, market trends, and competitor offerings.

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an Insurance Trainer, Sales Trainer, or Process Trainer.

- Prior experience in Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Term Insurance, or BFSI industry is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of insurance products, sales cycle, and customer acquisition.

- Experience in training Telesales, Inside Sales, BPO Sales, or Direct Sales teams.

- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.

- Ability to motivate teams and drive measurable performance improvement.

- Comfortable using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Google Workspace, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
