The Car Rental Tele sales & Reservations Agent is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing calls, providing customers with vehicle rental information, securing reservations, promoting company services, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This role requires strong communication skills, sales ability, and attention to detail.
Respond to inbound calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding car rentals.
Provide accurate information about vehicle availability, rental rates, insurance options, and policies.
Create, modify, and cancel reservations in the booking system.
Assist customers with pick-up/drop-off locations, rental terms, and required documentation.
Identify customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle categories or services.
Upsell upgrades, additional insurance, GPS, child seats, and other add-ons.
Meet or exceed monthly sales and conversion targets.
Promote special offers, loyalty programs, and corporate packages.
Handle customer concerns and escalate issues when needed.
Maintain professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
Provide follow-up communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of reservations and customer information.
Process payments, deposits, and pre-authorizations when required.
Update the CRM system and booking software in real-time.
Coordinate with branches, dispatch, and fleet teams regarding vehicle availability.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in telesales, call center, customer service, or hospitality.
Excellent verbal communication & telephone etiquette.
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities.
Basic computer skills and experience with reservation or CRM systems.
Experience in car rental, travel, or transportation industry.
Ability to speak multiple languages.
