Responsibilities

• Outbound sales: Make cold or warm calls to potential clients to introduce products, explain features, and convince them to purchase.

• Inbound sales: Answer incoming calls from customers, process orders, and answer product-related questions.

• Lead generation: Identify and qualify leads for the outside sales team.

• Customer relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business and ensure satisfaction.

• Upselling and cross-selling: Promote additional products or services to existing customers based on their needs and purchasing history.

• Order processing: Accurately record customer information and process purchase orders.

• Data management: Maintain an updated database of customer information and sales activities.

• Reporting: Track sales performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate sales reports. 

Skills and qualifications

• Communication: Excellent verbal communication, persuasive, and negotiation skills are essential.

• Product knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products and services to make suitable recommendations.

• Customer service: Ability to handle stressful situations and provide excellent customer service.

• Computer proficiency: Proficiency in using sales software, databases, and standard office software like Microsoft Office.

• Goal-oriented: Motivated to meet or exceed daily, monthly, and yearly sales targets.
