A Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel-powered commercial vehicles, such as trucks, buses, and heavy-duty equipment.
Their expertise lies in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the smooth operation of diesel engines and related systems. Here are the key responsibilities:
Diagnostic Testing: Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
Repairs and Replacements: Repair or replace engines, transmissions, steering systems, brakes, differentials, and other components as needed.
Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tune-ups, and inspections.
Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance work performed on vehicles.
Skills and Qualification:-
Technical Knowledge: Understand diesel engine systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose problems effectively and plan repairs.
Attention to Detail: Ensure precision in repairs and maintenance.
Eligibility: Should be Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
