To ensure smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and timely repair of all engineering systems, equipment, and facilities in the hotel, maintaining guest comfort, safety, and compliance with hotel standards.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and civil works as assigned.
Attend and resolve guest room complaints promptly and courteously.
Ensure proper functioning of lighting, power supply, water supply, pumps, boilers, DG sets, UPS, and HVAC systems.
Repair or replace defective equipment and fittings.
Respond to maintenance requests from Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments.
Ensure minimum disturbance to guests while carrying out repair work.
Maintain high standards of workmanship aligned with star hotel expectations.
Follow the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule.
Maintain maintenance records, job cards, and logbooks.
Identify potential faults and report them before breakdowns occur.
Follow all safety procedures, fire safety norms, and statutory requirements.
Use tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good condition.
Report any safety hazards, accidents, or near misses immediately.
Support fire drills and emergency situations.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors under supervision.
Report major repairs, spares requirements, and material shortages to the Chief Engineer.
Maintain proper inventory of tools and consumables.
Technical knowledge in Electrical / Plumbing / HVAC / Mechanical / Civil (as per specialization)

ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing, or relevant trade
Certification in related technical field preferred

Shift duties including night shifts, weekends, and holidays
On-call duty during emergencies
Response time to complaints
