We are looking for a skilled and reliable GPS Installation Technician to install, configure, test, and maintain GPS tracking devices in vehicles. The technician will ensure that GPS devices are properly connected, functioning correctly, and installed according to safety and company standards.
Install GPS tracking devices in cars, trucks, buses, and other vehicles.
Connect GPS devices to the vehicle's electrical system safely and correctly.
Configure and activate GPS tracking units and related accessories.
Test devices to ensure accurate location tracking and proper communication.
Diagnose and troubleshoot installation or connectivity issues.
Perform GPS device replacements, repairs, and maintenance when required.
Maintain proper installation records and update job reports.
Coordinate with customers and explain basic GPS device functionality.
Follow electrical, vehicle-safety, and company installation procedures.
Travel to customer locations or assigned sites for installations when required.
