Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Student – Technical Assistant

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical or Electrical Engineering student to work closely with our Technical Head and assist in building and assembling equipment and prototypes.

This is a practical, workshop-oriented role for someone who enjoys working with tools, machines, electronics, wiring, and physical components rather than only working on theoretical or desk-based tasks.

What You Will Do

• Assist the Technical Head in building and assembling equipment

• Assemble mechanical and electrical components

• Assist with drilling, cutting, fitting, and basic fabrication

• Perform soldering and wiring of electrical/electronic components

• Use basic hand and power tools safely

• Help with testing, troubleshooting, and modifying equipment

• Read and understand basic mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, or assembly instructions

• Assist with maintaining tools, components, and the workshop

• Support the technical team in developing and improving prototypes

Who We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

• Students in any year are welcome

• Freshers and interns are encouraged to apply

• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems

• Comfortable working with tools and getting hands-on

• Willingness to learn and take instructions from the Technical Head

• Practical problem-solving mindset

• Attention to detail and ability to work carefully

Good to Have

• Experience with soldering, wiring, drilling, fabrication, or assembly

• Familiarity with basic electrical components and circuits

• Experience with tools such as drills, screwdrivers, multimeters, soldering irons, etc.

• Basic CAD knowledge is a plus

• Previous experience building college projects, prototypes, robots, or machines is a plus

Work Arrangement

We are flexible on the working arrangement:
