Technician

Cityfurnish Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a Technician for our warehouse in Bhiwandi, Mumbai. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing, servicing, testing, and installing home appliances used in our rental business. You should know how to handle different types of refrigerators (single door, double door, side-by-side, mini fridge), including fixing cooling issues, gas filling, compressor problems, and electrical faults. You should also be experienced in air conditioners (split and window AC), including installation, gas refill, leakage, and cooling issues. Good knowledge of washing machines is required, including front load, top load, and semi-automatic machines, where you can fix motor issues, drainage problems, and spin issues. You should also be able to work on other appliances like microwave ovens, geysers, and water purifiers. The role also requires refurbishing appliances, which means checking returned products, repairing them properly, cleaning them, and making them ready for the next customer in good working condition. You may have to visit customer locations for installation and service, and fuel charges will be provided by the company. This role is for experienced technicians only who already know the work and can handle multiple appliances on their own.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Repair and service home appliances in warehouse and at customer locations

• Identify problems quickly and fix them without supervision

• Install appliances like AC, refrigerator, and washing machine at customer homes

• Handle refrigerators (cooling issues, gas filling, compressor work)

• Service air conditioners (installation, gas refill, leakage, cooling issues)

• Repair washing machines (motor, drainage, spin issues)

• Work on microwave, geyser, and water purifier

• Refurbish returned appliances (repair, clean, test, and make ready for next use)

• Check all products before delivery to ensure proper working condition

• Visit customer locations when required (fuel charges will be provided)

• Maintain tools and follow proper work process

• Ensure good quality work and proper handling of appliances
