Technician Helper

Job Overview

A Helper/Assistant supports technicians and supervisors in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV, Fire Alarm, and other ELV systems at project sites.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Assist in installation of CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems

Help in fire alarm system installation (detectors, panels, hooters)

Support in cable laying, conduit work, and wiring

Carry tools, materials, and equipment at site

Assist in testing & commissioning of systems

Help in basic troubleshooting and maintenance

Follow instructions from supervisors/technicians

Maintain clean and safe work environment

Support in site documentation and reporting (basic level)

⚡ Required Skills

Basic knowledge of electrical wiring

Willingness to learn CCTV & fire alarm systems

Ability to use basic tools (drill machine, tester, etc.)

Physical fitness for site work

Teamwork and discipline

Basic understanding of safety practices

🎓 Qualification

ITI (Electrician/Wireman) preferred

10th / 12th pass (with relevant experience also accepted)

🧰 Preferred Knowledge (Bonus)

IP Camera setup basics

Fire alarm components

Cable termination

ELV systems basics

⏰ Work Environment

Field/site-based job (construction sites, offices, malls, buildings)

May require travel within city (like Mumbai or nearby areas)

Flexible working hours depending on project

💰 Salary Range - 15000-18000 gross
