Job Title: Helper – Smart DT (Distribution Transformer) Meter Installation

Department: Field Operations / Field Services

Location: Anywhere in Punjab

Job Summary

We are looking for hardworking and physically fit Helpers to support the installation of Smart Distribution Transformer (DT) Meters. The Helper will assist technicians during field operations by handling tools and materials, preparing installation sites, supporting equipment mounting, and maintaining workplace safety. This is an excellent opportunity for freshers looking to start a career in the electrical and field services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling & Tool Support

• Transport smart meters, SMC boxes, cables, mounting brackets, and other equipment to installation sites.

• Organize and hand over the required tools to technicians during installation.

• Load and unload materials and ensure inventory is properly maintained.

Installation Support

• Assist in mounting SMC boxes and brackets on transformer structures.

• Support cable routing, pulling, and alignment during installation.

• Hold ladders, guide ropes, and provide ground support to technicians working at heights.

• Hold and position old/new meters for barcode scanning and documentation.

• Guard tools and materials while technicians are working.

Safety & Housekeeping

Wear mandatory PPE, including helmet, safety shoes, gloves, and reflective vest at all times.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment before, during, and after installation.

Set up safety cones and barricades to ensure public safety around the worksite.

Administrative Support

Assist with basic documentation related to installation activities.

Support technicians in capturing site photographs and maintaining installation records through mobile applications.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

10th Pass / 12th Pass

ITI (Electrical) candidates preferred

Experience:

0–2 years of experience in electrical work, construction, or field operations.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Requirements

Physically fit to lift up to 20–25 kg.

Comfortable working outdoors and climbing ladders.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Punctual, disciplined, and safety-conscious.

Basic understanding of electrical tools is an added advantage.
