We are looking for a solar technician to join our team BLUTH SOLAR A Solar Technician is a skilled technical professional who installs, inspects, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs solar energy systems such as solar photovoltaic (PV) panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment. They ensure solar systems operate safely and efficiently for homes, businesses, or commercial solar projects.
Installation & Setup
Install solar panels, racking and mounting structures on rooftops or ground-mounted sites.
Connect and wire solar modules, inverters, batteries, and other electrical components.
Assess installation site to determine optimal layout and safety measures.
Perform electrical wiring, grounding and testing tasks.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Conduct routine inspections to check system performance.
Identify and fix issues such as faulty wiring, panel misalignment, inverter malfunctions or voltage irregularities.
Clean, test, and maintain system components.
Keep accurate records of installation work, tests, and repair activities.
Prepare site reports and communicate findings with supervisors or customers.
Explain system operation, basic maintenance tips, and safety to clients.
Ensure customer satisfaction with installations and service calls.
Knowledge of solar PV components (panels, inverters, batteries).
Basic electrical theory, wiring, and testing skills.
Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.
Proficiency with hand and power tools (drills, multimeter, screwdrivers, ladders).
Safety awareness when working at heights and with electrical systems.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Qualifications & Experience
✔ ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or related technical field (often preferred).
✔ Experience with solar installation or electrical work helps (freshers with training may also be considered).
✔ Certifications in solar PV installation (e.g., NSQF/NABCEP) are a bonus.
✔ Physical fitness to work outdoors and at heights.
