Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Energy Expert to lead the design, engineering, and execution of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including megawatt-scale solar power plants. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of electrical systems, solar technologies, and large-scale project implementation, with hands-on experience from concept to commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer solar PV systems ranging from residential to utility-scale (MW-level) plants

• Perform detailed electrical calculations, including load analysis, current flow, voltage drop, and system efficiency

• Lead site assessments, feasibility studies, and energy yield analysis

• Develop single-line diagrams (SLDs), layout drawings, and technical specifications

• Oversee and execute installation, testing, and commissioning of solar power plants

• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

• Manage and guide on-site teams, subcontractors, and project timelines

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and system performance issues

• Optimize system performance through advanced diagnostics and monitoring tools

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle

Required Skills & Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and grid integration

• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, including AC/DC systems, current, voltage, and protection systems

• Expertise in designing and executing megawatt-scale solar installations

• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, or similar tools

• Strong project management and leadership capabilities

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field

• Relevant certifications (e.g., Solar PV certification, electrical license) preferred

• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale solar projects (MW-level)

Preferred Experience

• Experience working on utility-scale solar farms

• Knowledge of grid compliance, net metering, and power evacuation systems

• Familiarity with SCADA systems and performance monitoring tools
