Position Overview

We are seeking motivated, entry-level Diploma holders in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to join our team as Field Service Engineers for an Authorized Cummins India Service Dealership. You will be responsible for on-site preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and breakdown repairs for commercial and industrial Diesel Generator (DG) sets across Pune.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct scheduled servicing, inspections, and routine check-ups on Cummins DG sets across client locations in Pune.

• Breakdown & Troubleshooting: Attend breakdown calls, diagnose mechanical/electrical faults, and perform hands-on repairs or component replacements.

• Service Documentation: Prepare and submit accurate field service reports, customer sign-offs, and maintenance logs after completing site visits.

• Safety & Standards: Adhere strictly to authorized Cummins safety protocols, operational guidelines, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Client Coordination: Clearly communicate technical issues, maintenance plans, and best practices to on-site facility managers or clients.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Freshers only).

• Mobility: Must possess a personal two-wheeler with a valid Driving License (DL).

• Technical Aptitude: Strong foundational understanding of electrical circuits, engine mechanics, and diagnostic tools.

• Communication: Ability to write clear field reports and explain issues simply to clients.

• Work Readiness: Willingness to travel to various field sites across Pune city.

Compensation & Benefits

• Basic Salary: ₹18,000 per month

• Site Incentives: Up to ₹4,000 per month (performance & visit-based)

• Travel Support: Dedicated Travelling Allowance (TA) for all site visits

• Accommodation: Company-provided room accommodation available after 3 months of service
