Position: Service Advisor – EV Service Centre
Company: Raj Automobiles
Location: Siliguri
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹12,000 per month (depending on experience)
Experience: Prior automobile/service centre experience preferred
Job Description
The Service Advisor will be responsible for coordinating between customers, technicians and the Service Manager, ensuring smooth handling of service vehicles from reception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Receive customers and understand vehicle service/repair complaints.
Prepare and maintain job cards with accurate customer and vehicle details.
Coordinate with technicians for vehicle inspection, diagnosis and repair.
Keep customers updated regarding repair progress, estimated costs and delivery timelines.
Prepare service estimates and obtain necessary customer approvals.
Coordinate service billing and ensure proper documentation before vehicle delivery.
Monitor pending jobs and coordinate timely vehicle delivery.
Handle basic customer queries and service complaints professionally.
Maintain service records, job cards and other required documentation.
Coordinate with Spare Parts and the Service Manager for smooth completion of jobs.
Assist in warranty documentation and other service-related paperwork as required.
Ensure proper handover of vehicles to customers after service completion.
Candidate Requirements
Prior experience in an automobile workshop, service centre, dealership service department or similar role is preferred. Experience with VASY ERP or any automobile/service billing software will be an added advantage.
The candidate should have good customer-handling, communication, basic computer and documentation skills, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with technicians and customers.
EV-specific experience is preferred but not mandatory. Company-specific procedures and EV service processes will be explained/trained by Management as required.
Preferred Candidate
A responsible and customer-oriented individual with prior automobile/service experience who can efficiently handle customer coordination, job cards, billing and service documentation and is willing to learn the company's service procedures.
