Senior X-Ray Technician

We are looking for a Senior X-Ray Technician to join our team at Mehrotra Diagnostics who can independently perform and manage all radiographic procedures. The ideal candidate should have comprehensive knowledge of general radiography and special procedures such as HSG, Mammography, IVP, Barium Swallow, RGU/MGU, and patient positioning techniques. The role requires a professional capable of handling the X-Ray department independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and manage all routine and special X-Ray procedures, including:

1. Hysterosalpingography (HSG)

2. Mammography

3. Intravenous Pyelography (IVP)

4. Barium Swallow / Barium Meal

5. Retrograde Urethrogram (RGU) / Micturating Cystourethrogram (MCU)

6. Other contrast studies as required

• Ensure proper patient positioning, exposure techniques, and radiation safety measures.

• Coordinate with radiologists and physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

• Manage workflow efficiently and handle the department independently during assigned shifts.

• Supervise junior technicians or trainees if assigned

  Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 1 - 4 years of experience. Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control standards. Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently..
