The Pest Control Technician is responsible for inspecting customer premises, identifying pest problems, and carrying out pest control treatments using approved chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures to ensure effective pest management.
Conduct site inspections to identify pest infestations and assess treatment requirements.
Perform pest control treatments such as spraying, baiting, fumigation, and trapping as per company standards.
Handle and use pest control chemicals safely and in compliance with safety guidelines.
Maintain proper records of services, chemicals used, and site reports.
Educate customers on preventive pest control measures and hygiene practices.
Ensure all pest control equipment is properly maintained and in working condition.
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and government regulations.
Attend assigned service calls and complete them within scheduled timelines.
Report major pest infestations or service issues to the supervisor.
Maintain professional behavior and good customer relations during service visits.
Basic knowledge of pest control methods and chemicals.
Ability to handle pest control equipment and tools.
Good communication and customer handling skills.
Ability to work in different environments (residential, commercial, industrial).
Basic reading and writing skills for maintaining service records.
Physically fit and willing to travel to different service locations.
Minimum: 10th / 12th Pass or equivalent.
Certification in pest control (if applicable) is an advantage.
Freshers or experienced candidates can apply.
Field-based job requiring travel.
May involve working at heights, confined spaces, or chemical exposure (with safety measures).
