Job Title: Multi Skilled Technician (MST)

Department: Maintenance / Engineering

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor / Facility Manager

Job Summary

The Multi Skilled Technician (MST) is responsible for carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance systems to ensure smooth operation of facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems

• Attend breakdown maintenance and troubleshoot faults efficiently

• Carry out minor repair works such as wiring, lighting, switches, pumps, motors, valves, and fixtures

• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities

• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, and records

• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company policies

• Coordinate with supervisors and other technicians for maintenance activities

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment

• Maintain housekeeping and proper use of tools and equipment

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair common facility issues

• Understanding of safety practices and PPE usage

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and on-call duties

Qualification

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or related trade

• Certification in multi-skilling preferred

Experience

• 1–5 years of experience in facility maintenance / industrial maintenance

• Freshers with ITI may also be considered

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, bend, climb, and lift moderate loads

• Fit for on-site maintenance work
