Job Description:
• Develop and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Willing to travel to other company locations to provide hands on maintenance support, troubleshoot critical breakdowns, and possess equipment installation to ensure smooth operations.
• Hands on experience in equipment erection, commissioning, and stabilization.
• The candidate should be responsible for driving world-class maintenance practices, improving MTBF, reducing MTTR, eliminating repeat failures, and ensuring zero statutory or safety deviations.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & implement CAPA.
• Lead breakdown review meetings and reliability initiatives, installation & commissioning of new machinery.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary team and build a proactive, performance-driven maintenance culture.
• Strong exposure to process equipment, automated systems, utilities, and statutory compliance is essential.
• Develop and manage annual maintenance budgets, reduce emergency procurement and reactive spending.
• Experience in managing ETP/STP operations and handling Factory Act, Electrical Safety NOC & HT/LT approvals, and pollution control equipment and related compliances if required.
• The position carries accountability for cost control, spare optimization, audit readiness, and drive a zero-LTI (Lost Time Injury) safety performance culture within the department.
• Experience handling process equipment such as pumps, reactors, mixers, mills, and automated production systems along with HT/LT infrastructure, PLC/SCADA/VFD-controlled operations, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, and ETP/STP facilities.
Qualification and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Additional certification in Electrical / Industrial Automation / Reliability Engineering (Preferred)
• Training in Safety, HSE, or Statutory Compliance will be an added advantage
• Prior experience in Construction Chemical manufacturing industry will be preferred
• Proven record of improving OEE & reducing breakdown trends
• Exposure to ISO, safety audits & statutory frameworks
• Strong vendor and cost management capability
