Designation: Helper – Elevator Installation & Maintenance
Department: Operations
Grade: Entry Level
Location: Bhopal / Varanasi / Surat / Project Sites
Reporting To: Technician / Semi-Technician / Operations Engineer
Employment Type: Contractual
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

1. Job Purpose

To provide basic assistance to the technical team during elevator installation, maintenance and servicing activities. The Helper is responsible for supporting technicians with material handling, site preparation, housekeeping and other assigned tasks while following company safety guidelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

1. Assist technicians and semi-technicians during elevator installation and maintenance work.

2. Carry and arrange tools, materials and equipment at project sites.

3. Support loading, unloading and movement of elevator components.

4. Help in cleaning and preparing the installation area.

5. Assist in holding, positioning and arranging materials under technical supervision.

6. Maintain cleanliness and proper organisation of tools and work areas.

7. Follow instructions given by technicians and Operations Engineers.

8. Ensure proper handling and storage of materials.

9. Follow workplace safety rules and use personal protective equipment (PPE).

10. Support the technical team in daily site activities as assigned.

11. Maintain discipline, punctuality and professional behaviour at customer locations.

12. Travel to project sites and customer locations whenever required.

3. Educational Qualification

• Minimum 8th / 10th pass preferred.

• 12th pass candidates may also apply.

• Basic technical knowledge will be an added advantage.

4. Required Skills

• Ability to follow instructions.

• Physical fitness for field-related activities.

• Basic understanding of tools and materials.

• Discipline and punctuality.

• Teamwork and willingness to learn.

• Responsible handling of company materials and equipment.

5. Experience

• Freshers are welcome.

• Prior experience in construction, electrical, mechanical or installation-related work will be an advantage.
