Job Description – Maintenance Technician (Electrical / Electronics)

Position: Maintenance Technician

Department: Engineering / Maintenance

Location: Navi Mumbai – Manufacturing Unit (MIDC Pawne)

Employment Type: Full Time

Experience: 3–6 Years in Manufacturing / Industrial Environment

Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics

Role Overview

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems of production machinery, including vinyl pressing machines and associated equipment. The role requires a technically skilled professional capable of ensuring reliable machine operation and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Machine Maintenance

·       Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and related equipment.

·       Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and electronic faults in machinery.

·       Ensure machines operate efficiently with minimal downtime.

2. Electrical Systems

·       Maintain electrical panels, wiring systems, sensors, and control circuits.

·       Monitor electrical systems and identify potential issues before failure.

·       Ensure proper functioning of motors, drives, heaters, and control components.

3. Preventive Maintenance

·       Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all machines and utilities.

·       Maintain maintenance logs and records of machine servicing.

·       Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities.

4. Equipment Installation & Support

·       Assist in installation and commissioning of new machines and equipment.

·       Support technicians and engineers during equipment upgrades or modifications.

5. Safety & Compliance

·       Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and factory safety procedures.

·       Maintain a clean and safe working environment around machines and electrical systems.
