IT Support Technician – Vijay Sales.
Installs, configures, and maintains organization-wide computer systems, hardware, and software while troubleshooting technical issues for the team.
Key Responsibilities:
· Technical Support: Installing, Diagnosing, repairing, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including networking problems.
· System Maintenance: Installing and upgrading computer systems, software, and hardware drivers.
· User Support & On boarding: Assisting employees with technical issues, resetting passwords, and setting up accounts for new hires.
· Documentation: Documenting technical fixes, maintaining asset inventory, and updating support logs.
· Security: Performing security checks, installing updates, and configuring firewalls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Windows/macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic LAN/WAN networking.
· Hardware Knowledge: Experience with desktop/laptop repair, printer setup, and peripherals.
· Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving abilities, patience, and customer service skills.
· Education/Certification: Typically an Associate’s degree in IT or related field or 12th std + ITI in electrical or electronic field.
