Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose laptop hardware problems using standard diagnostic tools and procedures.

  • Troubleshoot laptops for no power, no display, charging, booting, overheating, battery, keyboard, touchpad, audio, USB, Wi-Fi and other hardware issues.

  • Identify faulty motherboard/PCB or hardware cards based on symptoms and test results.

  • Perform card-level replacement and repair of defective motherboards, daughter boards, DC-in boards, USB boards, display boards and other replaceable modules.

  • Replace defective laptop hardware assemblies

  • Check connectors, cables, sockets and physical PCB damage.

  • Follow laptop service manuals, technical guides and troubleshooting procedures.

  • Perform laptop dismantling, assembly and reassembly safely and correctly.

  • Conduct complete functional testing after repair.

  • Maintain repair records, fault descriptions and replaced-part details.

  • Ensure repaired laptops meet quality and turnaround-time requirements.
