Job Summary
The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and according to project specifications. This role acts as the link between workers, subcontractors, and project management.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily site activities and workforce
Ensure construction work follows drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Monitor project timelines and report progress to the Project Manager
Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on site
Manage materials, equipment, and site logistics
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors
Identify and resolve on-site issues and delays
Maintain site records, reports, and attendance
Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
Requirements & Skills
Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
Good leadership and communication skills
Problem-solving and decision-making ability
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred)
Relevant certifications in safety or site supervision are an advantage
Work Environment
Full-time, on-site role
