EV Engineer / Service Technician

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers Welcome)

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and technically capable EV Engineer / Service Technician to join our team. The role involves hands-on work in EV charging station installation, servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and customer support. Candidates with 0–2 years of experience can apply. Freshers are also welcome.

For freshers, experience is not the primary requirement. We are looking for candidates with good technical fundamentals, a strong learning attitude and the zeal to continuously improve themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission and service EV charging stations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of EV chargers.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and technical issues.

• Attend customer service calls and resolve technical problems.

• Conduct site visits for installation, inspection and troubleshooting.

• Test chargers and electrical systems using appropriate tools.

• Identify faults and implement practical solutions.

• Coordinate with senior engineers, OEMs and vendors when required.

• Maintain service reports and technical documentation.

• Follow electrical safety standards and company procedures.

• Assist the team with EV charging projects and installations.

• Learn and stay updated with EV and charging technologies.

Experience & Educational Qualification

• Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers are encouraged to apply).

• Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in EV charging, electrical maintenance, field service, automotive service, electrical/electronics service, or technical support will have an advantage

• Qualification:

• ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:

• Electrical Engineering

• Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Electronics & Communication

• Electronics

• Mechanical

• Automobile

• Mechatronics

• Or a related technical field Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of:

• Electrical systems, wiring, and circuits

• AC/DC systems

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Multimeter and basic electrical tools

• EVs and EV charging systems

• Electrical safety

• Installation and maintenance procedures

Job Requirements

The candidate should be comfortable with:

• Field visits to customer/project locations

• EV charger installation, servicing, and electrical troubleshooting

• Working with physical tools and equipment

• Travelling within Hyderabad and nearby locations when required

• Learning new EV charging technologies

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hyderabad, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
