Role Summary
We are looking for an Electromechanical Technician to support Drilling Services Manufacturing activities. The role involves wiring, assembly, soldering, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electro-mechanical MWD/LWD drilling tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform electrical wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical drilling tools and components.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical procedures.
Perform soldering and electro-mechanical assembly as per work instructions.
Use electrical testing equipment such as multimeters, meggers, Hi-Pot testers, and Wee Tech.
Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Perform quality checks according to manufacturing, engineering, ISO, and internal standards.
Work with AC/DC electrical circuits, mechanical assemblies, fluid power systems, and precision measuring equipment.
Identify technical problems and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Maintain accurate assembly records, system updates, and technical documentation.
Required Skills
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in electromechanical wiring, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical circuits.
Knowledge of fluid power systems is preferred.
Hands-on experience with soldering, electrical testing, wiring, and mechanical assembly.
Ability to use hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Good English communication skills.
