We are looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Br Mep Engineers Private Limited to repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment like heavy machinery, home appliances like TVs, and others. The role involves monitoring & servicing systems, diagnosing problems, and troubleshooting equipment, etc. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹18,000 - ₹22,000 with growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor day-to-day electrical installation activities at the project site.
Deploy and manage electricians, technicians, helpers and subcontractor manpower.
Read and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, schematics and specifications.
Ensure installation of LT/HT panels, DBs, cables, conduits, cable trays, earthing, lighting, power points and electrical equipment as per approved drawings.
Coordinate with the Electrical Engineer, Project Manager, Civil/MEP teams and other agencies for smooth execution.
Check the quality of materials and workmanship before installation and during execution.
Ensure electrical works are completed as per approved drawings, BOQ, specifications and applicable standards.
Monitor daily work progress and prepare daily progress reports.
Plan manpower, tools, equipment and materials required for daily activities.
Carry out inspection and testing of electrical installations, including insulation resistance, continuity, earthing and functional testing.
Identify electrical faults and coordinate troubleshooting and rectification.
Ensure proper earthing and electrical safety at the work site.
Strictly implement PPE, permit-to-work, isolation/LOTO and other applicable safety procedures.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
Maintain records of material consumption, manpower, inspections, testing and completed works.
Raise inspection requests and coordinate with consultants/client representatives for approvals.
Ensure proper housekeeping and safe storage of electrical materials.
Assist in testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems.
Monitor work against the project schedule and report delays, technical issues and material shortages to the concerned Engineer/Project Manager.
Ensure all electrical works are completed within the required time, quality and safety parameters.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 4 - 6+ years of experience. Applicants should be able to multitask, explain problems simply and clearly, and follow health & safety regulations. Proficiency in MS Office is a plus.
