DTH Installer / Technician

About the Role

SAI DTH CARES is looking for a skilled and customer-friendly DTH Installer / Technician to handle DTH installation, servicing, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install new DTH connections at customer premises.

• Properly install and align DTH satellite dishes for optimum signal quality.

• Install and configure Set-Top Boxes, LNBs, cables, connectors, and other DTH accessories.

• Activate new DTH connections and verify all required channels and services.

• Troubleshoot issues such as No Signal, weak signal, channel problems, picture/audio issues, and STB-related problems.

• Carry out DTH shifting and re-installation services.

• Replace faulty cables, LNBs, connectors, adapters, and other accessories when required.

• Conduct service visits and resolve customer complaints professionally.

• Explain basic DTH operation and remote/STB usage to customers.

• Maintain proper records of installations and service visits.

• Collect required service charges, where applicable, and submit daily reports.

• Coordinate with the office team regarding installation and service requests.

• Follow company safety and service-quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 10th pass; ITI/technical qualification preferred.

• Previous experience in DTH installation/service is preferred.

• Knowledge of dish alignment and signal troubleshooting.

• Basic understanding of electrical/electronic equipment.

• Ability to use basic tools such as spanners, drilling machines, cable crimping tools, and signal meters.

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.

• Should be physically fit and comfortable travelling to customer locations.

• Valid two-wheeler and driving licence preferred.
