Job Overview

• Role: Field Technician / Wireman

• Department: Airtel Fiber Broadband Installation & Maintenance

• Location: Multiple open locations across the region

Key Responsibilities

• Install fiber cables from main poles to customer homes.

• Fix network issues and solve connection problems quickly.

• Use splicing tools to join optical fiber wires.

• Help customers set up routers and test internet speeds.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: 10th pass, 12th pass, or ITI in Electrical/Wireman/Electronic trade.

• Experience: Freshers can apply, but 1 year of experience is preferred.

• Skills: Basic knowledge of wiring and handling hand tools.

• Assets: Must own a smartphone and a valid two-wheeler with a driving licence.

Job Position 2: Fiber Engineer / Network Engineer

Job Overview

• Role: Fiber Engineer

• Department: Network Operations & Infrastructure

• Location: Regional office and field locations

Key Responsibilities

• Plan network paths and oversee large fiber layout projects.

• Test signal strength using OTDR meters and laser sources.

• Lead team crews of wiremen to ensure high-quality work.

• Create regular reports on network health and team progress.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: Diploma or 10th,12th graduate or IT.

• Experience: Minimum 0 to 3 years of experience in broadband networks.

• Skills: Expert knowledge of splicing, OTDR testing, and fiber planning.

• Assets: Must have strong communication skills and leadership qualities.
