CNC Machine Operator

Set up CNC machines as per production plan and process sheet.

Load and align tools, fixtures, and job materials correctly.

Perform tool offset and machine parameter settings.

Conduct first-piece inspection using measuring instruments.

Ensure production components meet quality standards and drawing specifications.

Support CNC operators during production activities.

Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.

Change tools and inserts when required.

Maintain production records and machine setup details.

Ensure proper handling of gauges, tools, and fixtures.

Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping in the work area.

Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance departments for production support.
Create CNC programs for Turning, VMC, HMC, and other CNC machines.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and CAD models.

Select suitable tools, cutting parameters, and machining sequences.

Optimize cycle time and improve machining efficiency.

Support CNC setters and operators during new job setup.

Conduct trial runs and first-piece approvals.

Modify existing programs based on production or quality requirements.

Troubleshoot machining and programming-related issues.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Tool Room departments.

Maintain program backups and documentation.

Ensure programs comply with quality and safety standards.

Reduce rejection and improve productivity through process improvement.

Support new product development and process planning activities.

Load raw materials and ensure correct bar feeding.

Perform tool setting, offset adjustment, and parameter setting.

Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.

Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues.

Ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.

Maintain machine cleanliness and follow 5S practices.

Record production and inspection details properly.

Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments.
