Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced ELV / Security Systems Technician to handle the end-to-end installation, cabling, termination, configuration, and maintenance of electronic security systems. The role focuses primarily on CCTV surveillance (Analog/IP), Access Control Systems (ADP / Biometric / RFID), and Video Door Phone (VDP) solutions across residential, commercial, and enterprise sites.
Key Responsibilities
CCTV Surveillance Systems:
Mount and position dome, bullet, and PTZ cameras (Analog HD & IP).
Run and terminate CAT6 (RJ45) and Coaxial (RG59/BNC + DC) cabling through conduits/casings.
Install and configure DVRs, NVRs, PoE switches, and network routers.
Set up remote access, mobile monitoring apps (Hik-Connect, gCMOB, DMSS), and motion detection schedules.
Access Control & Door Automation (ADP / ACS):
Install and wire magnetic door locks (EM locks), drop bolts, exit switches, and emergency break-glass units.
Mount and configure biometric fingerprint terminals, face recognition scanners, and RFID card readers.
Integrate power supplies with battery backup (UPS) and controller boards.
Enroll users, map access privileges, and configure attendance tracking software.
Video Door Phone (VDP) & Intercom Systems:
Install outdoor villa/multi-apartment calling stations and indoor touch monitors.
Wire and integrate electronic strikes or EM locks with the VDP for remote door unlocking.
Configure 4-wire analog setups and IP-based multi-apartment intercom networks.
Pair Wi-Fi/IP VDP monitors with client mobile phones for call notifications.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Diagnose power line drops, camera signal loss, network IP conflicts, and lock release failures.
Perform routine health checks: hard drive retention, lens focus, battery backup levels, and firmware updates.
Repair or replace faulty power supplies, lock brackets, cables, and connectors.
Client Support & Site Handover:
Conduct user demos for monitoring apps, intercom answering, and attendance logs.
Maintain job cards, service reports, and materials-used logs for each site.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Knowledge:
Deep practical knowledge of 12V/24V low-voltage DC power wiring and relay logic (NO / NC / COM contacts).
Familiarity with IP networking basics: DHCP, Static IP allocation, Subnetting, Gateway, and Port Forwarding.
Safe handling of core installation tools: hammer drills, wall cutters, crimping tools, multimeters, and ladders.
Experience & Certifications:
High school diploma / ITI certificate / Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Hardware & Networking.
1–3+ years of on-site installation experience covering CCTV, biometric access, and VDPs.
Experience with major industry brands (e.g., CP PLUS, Hikvision, Dahua, eSSL, Realtime, Panasonic, Godrej).
Work Requirements:
Valid two-wheeler driving license and personal vehicle for local field visits.
Ability to work on ladders and handle physical field tasks comfortably.

Compensation: Monthly salary + travel/fuel reimbursement + site incentives
