We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient CCTV Technician to join our security team. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of IP and analog video surveillance systems, access control, and related security infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who enjoys working in the field and ensures our clients’ properties are monitored and secure.
Installation: Mount, position, and calibrate cameras (Dome, Bullet, PTZ, and Thermal) in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Cabling & Infrastructure: Run and terminate Low Voltage cabling, including Cat5e/Cat6 (Ethernet) and Coaxial cables. Install conduit, trunking, and rack-mounted equipment.
Networking: Configure DVRs/NVRs for remote viewing, set up IP addresses, and ensure seamless integration with the client’s local network.
Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, firmware updates, and lens cleaning. Troubleshoot signal loss, hard drive failures, and connectivity issues.
Access Control: (Optional/Preferred) Install and program electronic locks, card readers, and biometric scanners.
Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of installations, site surveys, and service reports. Provide basic training to clients on how to use the monitoring software.
