Boiler Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining boilers and associated equipment to ensure a safe and continuous supply of steam or hot water.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor boilers, pumps, valves, and related equipment.
Check pressure, temperature, water levels, and other operating parameters.
Perform routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
Identify equipment faults, leaks, or abnormal operating conditions and report them promptly.
Maintain boiler operation logs and records.
Ensure adequate fuel and water supply for efficient boiler operation.
Follow safety procedures and applicable operating standards.
Assist maintenance teams during boiler servicing, repairs, and shutdowns.
Keep the boiler room and surrounding work area clean and safe.
Respond appropriately to alarms and equipment malfunctions.
