About the Role
Teacher Partners at Openhouse deliver engaging, hands-on Robotics classes for children while taking ownership of student progress, parent experience, and the overall learning environment. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy helping children explore technology, problem-solving, and basic engineering concepts through projects and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality classes: Prepare for and conduct Robotics classes using the Openhouse curriculum, guiding students through hands-on activities, building projects, and basic coding concepts where applicable.
Track student development: Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and provide meaningful feedback to parents and the management team through regular updates and progress reports.
Support the learning community: Interact with parents during feedback sessions, workshops, and events, and collaborate with the management team to support student trials and admissions when required.
Lead showcases and events: Prepare students to demonstrate their projects during showcases and events, and participate in training and team meetings.
Who Are We Looking For
Individuals passionate about introducing children to robotics and technology.
Engineering / Science bachelor’s degrees
Willingness to work with children aged 5-12
Basic understanding of practical electronics and coding
Prior experience teaching robotics, coding, or STEM subjects to children is preferred.
Time Commitment
Any 5 days of the week (20 hours per week, 4 hours each day you choose):
Weekday Timings: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Weekend Timings: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Location
Classes are conducted across Bangalore at learning centers or apartment complexes. The location will be assigned according to your preference.
Compensation
INR 20,000 – 30,000 per month depending on performance in interview rounds.
