Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and organized School Librarian to manage the school library and help students develop reading and research habits. The candidate should have good organizational skills and a friendly approach towards students.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the school library.

• Organize and maintain books, journals, and other library resources.

• Issue and return books and maintain proper records.

• Help students and teachers find suitable books and learning resources.

• Maintain an updated catalogue of library materials.

• Encourage students to develop regular reading habits.

• Maintain a quiet, organized, and welcoming library environment.

• Participate in school activities and academic events.

Requirements

• Graduate or postgraduate qualification.

• Good organizational and communication skills.

• Basic computer knowledge.

• Previous school/library experience will be preferred.

• Responsible, punctual, and well-organized.
