Job Title: Principal

Institution: ASN Law College, Muddebihal, Vijayapura District, Karnataka

Qualification & Experience

● Must hold a Ph.D. in Law from a recognised university.

● Minimum 2–5 years of experience in teaching/administration at a reputed law college/university.

● Knowledge of Bar Council of India (BCI) and University Grants Commission (UGC) norms.

Key Responsibilities

1. Academic Leadership

○ Provide vision and leadership in academic planning, teaching, and research.

○ Ensure implementation of the curriculum as per BCI/UGC guidelines.

○ Encourage fac ulty development, research activities, and student participation

2. Administrative Duties

○ Manage day-to-day operations of the college.

○ Supervise faculty, staff, and students to maintain academic discipline.

○ Ensure compliance with university and government regulations.

3. Student Development

○ Promote student welfare, legal aid activities, and career guidance.

○ Encourage moot courts, legal research, and community engagement.

4. Institutional Growth

○ Work closely with the management to achieve the vision and mission of the college.

○ Strengthen ties with legal bodies, universities, and the community.

○ Lead initiatives to enhance reputation and accreditation of the institution.
