Location: under MNS FUNCTION HALL Near HP Petrol Pump, Opposite Adarsha Nagar, NS Grammer School Lane Chilkanagar Raod Uppal.
Reports To: Coordinator/Director/Principal/Administrator
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: - 8000 - 18000 Per month
Job Summary
The Preschool Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate educational experiences for children ages 2–6. The teacher creates a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This role works collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and families to promote positive learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
Create a warm, inclusive, and structured classroom environment that supports individual learning needs.
Observe, assess, and document children’s development and progress, maintaining accurate records.
Support children’s social-emotional development and positive behavior through guidance and encouragement.
Ensure health, safety, and supervision standards are followed at all times.
Communicate regularly with parents through conferences, reports, and daily updates.
Collaborate with fellow teachers, assistants, and administrators to support classroom and school goals.
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Assist with classroom setup, organization, and maintenance of materials and supplies.
Support children during transitions, routines, and special school events.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Associate degree may be considered).
Minimum of 1–3 years of experience working with young children in a preschool or early childhood setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and developmentally appropriate practices.
Understanding of state licensing requirements and classroom safety standards.
Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience working in inclusive or special education classrooms.
Familiarity with early childhood curriculum approaches such as Reggio Emilia, Montessori, or Creative Curriculum.
Ability to use educational technology and classroom documentation tools.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
