Job Summary:
Orchids The International School is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Pre-Primary
Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a
nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role focuses
on promoting the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of pre-primary students
through structured activities, play-based learning, and personalized attention.
Key Responsibilities:
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, engaging, and well-organized learning
environment for young children.
Lesson Planning: Create and deliver play-based and developmentally appropriate lesson
plans in alignment with the early childhood curriculum.
Child Development: Monitor, assess, and support the social, emotional, and cognitive
growth of each child, tailoring approaches to individual needs.
Parent Communication: Maintain open communication with parents through regular
updates, progress reports, and parent-teacher meetings.
Activity Organization: Organize and conduct creative activities such as arts and crafts,
storytelling, music, and outdoor play to enhance children's learning and creativity.
Collaboration: Work closely with teaching assistants and participate in teacher training
sessions, school events, and extracurricular activities to ensure a holistic learning
experience for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
A recognized ECCED/Montessory/D.ed/NTT certification or diploma.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners.
Ability to foster a creative and stimulating environment.
Prior experience in pre-primary teaching is preferred.
