## Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated International Admission Counselor to guide prospective students through their overseas education journey from enquiry to enrolment.

The candidate will be responsible for counselling students and parents, managing leads, conducting regular follow-ups, converting enquiries into admissions, and providing guidance throughout the overseas university application process.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong counselling abilities, and a target-oriented approach to B2C sales.

## Key Responsibilities

### Student Counselling

• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students and parents through phone calls, video calls, and other digital communication channels.

• Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, preferences, and financial considerations.

• Recommend suitable courses, universities, and study destinations based on student requirements.

• Explain admission procedures, eligibility criteria, university requirements, application timelines, and career opportunities.

• Guide students regarding visa requirements and documentation.

### Lead Management & Conversion

• Handle leads received through various online and offline sources.

• Generate, track, and manage leads effectively.

• Conduct timely follow-ups with prospective students and parents.

• Build strong relationships with students to maintain engagement throughout the admission cycle.

• Convert qualified leads into successful enrolments.

• Achieve assigned admission and enrolment targets through effective B2C sales and counselling.

### Sales & Relationship Management

• Communicate the benefits and value of overseas education opportunities effectively.

• Build trust and rapport with prospective students and their families.

• Identify student requirements and address queries or concerns effectively.

• Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective students and follow up consistently.

• Use consultative selling and persuasive communication to drive conversions.

### Market & Study Destination Knowledge

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems and admission processes.

• Stay updated on university requirements, courses, intakes, scholarships, and visa procedures.

• Develop working knowledge of at least 1–2 major study destinations such as the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or other international destinations.

### Application & Documentation Support

• Guide students through the university application process.

• Assist students with application submissions and required documentation.

• Provide guidance regarding SOPs, LORs, academic documents, and other admission-related paperwork.

• Ensure students are aware of applicable deadlines and documentation requirements.

• Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate a smooth admission process.

### Virtual Outreach & Communication

• Conduct counselling sessions, presentations, webinars, and virtual student engagement activities.

• Participate in online education events and promotional activities.

• Communicate with students and parents through calls, emails, messaging platforms, and video meetings.

• Maintain professional and timely communication with prospective students.

### CRM & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, counselling sessions, applications, and conversions in the CRM.

• Update lead status and student information regularly.

• Prepare and share regular activity and conversion reports with management.

• Ensure all follow-ups and lead activities are properly documented.

### Team Collaboration

• Coordinate with marketing, operations, and university relations teams.

• Work collaboratively to ensure smooth student onboarding and application processing.

• Share relevant student requirements and updates with internal teams.

• Contribute towards overall enrolment and business objectives.

## Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline; Education, Business, Management, or related fields preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in overseas education consulting, EdTech, admissions, academic counselling, or B2C sales.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Excellent counselling and influencing abilities.

• Strong sales and lead-conversion orientation.

• Ability to independently manage leads and follow-ups in a work-from-home environment.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

• Comfortable using CRM systems, Microsoft Office, video-conferencing tools, and digital communication platforms.

• Knowledge of overseas education and international study destinations is preferred.

• Familiarity with university applications, SOPs, LORs, and visa documentation is an advantage.

• Fluency in multiple languages will be an added advantage.
