Roles and Responsibilities – Maths Teacher (2–6 Years Experience in ICSE Board)

Qualification: M.SC (MATHEMATICS), B.ED

Teaching & Instruction

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the curriculum and school standards.

• Teach mathematical concepts clearly using age-appropriate methods and real-world examples.

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of students with varying abilities.

• Integrate technology and teaching aids to enhance understanding and interest in Mathematics.
  

Curriculum & Assessment

• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the syllabus.

• Conduct regular tests, quizzes, and examinations to evaluate student progress.

• Analyze assessment results and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.

• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Classroom Management

• Create a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.

• Encourage student participation, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking.

• Address learning difficulties and provide remedial or enrichment support as required.

Student Development

• Motivate students to develop analytical thinking and logical reasoning skills.

• Prepare students for examinations, competitions, and academic challenges.

• Mentor and guide students in academic growth and personal development.
  

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic coordinators for curriculum planning.

• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and concerns.

• Participate in staff meetings, training programs, and professional development activities.

Professional Responsibilities

• Stay updated with current teaching methodologies and educational trends in Mathematics.

• Follow school policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

• Contribute to school events, activities, and academic initiatives as required.
