Job Description:

Akshara Learning Centre is hiring dedicated teaching staff for school students and NIOS learners. We are looking for candidates who can handle one or more of the following subjects:

- Maths

- Physics

- Chemistry

- Science

- Social Science

- Accountancy

The teacher should be able to explain concepts clearly, support students with academic difficulties, prepare lesson plans, conduct regular classes, give worksheets, monitor student progress, and help students prepare for school exams, board exams, and NIOS exams.

Responsibilities:

- Teach students in the assigned subject clearly and patiently.

- Prepare class notes, worksheets, and test papers.

- Support slow learners and students who need individual attention.

- Track student performance and give regular feedback.

- Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment.

- Coordinate with parents and centre management when required.

Required Skills:

- Good subject knowledge.

- Good communication skills.

- Ability to teach school-level students.

- Patience to handle different types of learners.

- Basic lesson planning and test preparation skills.

- Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Qualification:

- Graduate / Post Graduate in relevant subject.

- B.Ed. or teaching experience will be an added advantage.

- Freshers with strong subject knowledge can also apply.

Work Location:

Akshara Learning Centre, Pammal, Chennai

Salary:

Based on subject, experience, working hours, and interview performance.
