Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fashion Design Faculty to educate, mentor, and inspire students in various aspects of fashion design. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical expertise in garment construction, pattern making, fashion illustration, draping, textiles, and design development, along with excellent teaching and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver theoretical and practical lectures in Fashion Design.

• Teach Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Draping, Fashion Illustration, Textile Science, Surface Ornamentation, and Fashion CAD.

• Demonstrate garment construction techniques and pattern development.

• Guide students in design research, concept development, portfolio creation, and collection development.

• Plan and conduct workshops, seminars, industrial visits, and live projects.

• Evaluate students through assignments, practicals, presentations, and examinations.

• Maintain attendance, academic records, and student progress reports.

• Mentor students for competitions, exhibitions, and fashion shows.

• Stay updated with current fashion trends, technologies, and industry practices.

• Coordinate with the academic team for curriculum planning and execution.

• Ensure proper maintenance of laboratories, sewing equipment, and classroom discipline.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Minimum 1-6 years of teaching or industry experience.

• Strong knowledge of Garment Construction and Pattern Making.
