Job Purpose

To provide high-quality classroom instruction in English for students preparing for RIMC and Sainik School entrance examinations. The teacher will be responsible for building students' grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and spoken English skills while helping them develop confidence to excel in competitive examinations.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

Teach English according to the RIMC and Sainik School examination syllabus.

Prepare weekly lesson plans and ensure timely completion of the syllabus.

Develop students' understanding of Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Synonyms & Antonyms, Idioms & Phrases, Sentence Formation, Error Detection, and Creative Writing.

Improve students' spoken English, pronunciation, communication skills, and confidence.

Conduct regular revision sessions and doubt-clearing classes.

Prepare chapter-wise assignments, worksheets, practice papers, and mock tests.

Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive feedback to students.

Identify weak students and provide additional academic support.

Assessment & Evaluation

Conduct periodic class tests and weekly assessments.

Analyze students' performance and maintain progress records.

Share performance updates with the Director and parents whenever required.

Assist in preparing final mock examinations and interview practice material.
