The Daycare Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. The role involves supervising, supporting, and planning age-appropriate activities to ensure children’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
Plan and conduct daily activities that promote learning through play.
Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment.
Support children with basic routines such as feeding, toileting, and resting.
Observe, record, and report children’s behavior and developmental progress.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and co-teachers.
Follow the daily schedule and center policies.
Communicate any concerns or incidents promptly to the Center Owner.
Encourage social interaction, sharing, and cooperation among children.
Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained throughout the day.
Graduate with Early Childhood Education or Montessori Training preferred.
Prior experience working in a daycare or preschool environment is an advantage.
Warm, patient, and caring personality with good communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
