Salary:

• PRT: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

• TGT: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month
  Preference: Local candidates preferred

Role Summary

A reputed CBSE-affiliated school in Kalaburagi, Karnataka is seeking a passionate and technically sound Computer Science Teacher for both Primary (PRT) and Trained Graduate (TGT) levels. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, hands-on programming skills, and the ability to deliver engaging, practical-oriented computer education aligned with CBSE standards.

The teacher will be responsible for building foundational digital literacy (PRT level) and advancing programming, computational thinking, and application-based learning (TGT level).

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science as per CBSE curriculum guidelines (PRT / TGT level).

• Develop structured lesson plans, lab activities, and project-based assignments.

• Teach fundamentals such as MS Office, basic computing, and digital literacy (PRT).

• Teach programming concepts, databases, and advanced applications (TGT).

• Conduct practical lab sessions and ensure proper lab discipline.

• Assess student performance through assignments, practical exams, and projects.

• Encourage innovation, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Maintain computer lab equipment and ensure safe usage practices.

• Participate in school academic meetings, workshops, and school events.

Skills & Qualifications

• BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science) / B.Tech (CS/IT) or equivalent qualification.

• B.Ed preferred (mandatory as per CBSE norms for TGT).

• Strong knowledge of programming languages (such as Python / Java / C++ as applicable).

• Proficiency in MS Office tools and computer fundamentals.

• Good classroom management and communication skills.

• Ability to simplify technical concepts for school students.

• Prior teaching experience in CBSE school preferred.
