Computer Teacher

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Computer Teacher / IT Trainer to deliver high-quality training in computer fundamentals and IT skills under various skill development programs. The trainer will be responsible for teaching students, preparing lesson plans, assessing learner progress, and ensuring successful completion of training objectives as per the program guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver classroom and practical training on Computer Basics, MS Office, Internet, Email, Digital Literacy, and Basic IT Skills.

• Prepare lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and practical exercises as per curriculum requirements.

• Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor student performance.

• Maintain attendance records, assessment reports, and training documentation.

• Guide and support students in practical computer applications and digital tools.

• Ensure the lab setup, computer systems, and software are functional for smooth training sessions.

• Assist students in improving their employability skills and workplace readiness.

• Maintain discipline and create an engaging learning environment.

• Coordinate with the center manager/project team for reporting and compliance.

• Support mobilization and counseling activities whenever required.

• Ensure adherence to the standards of skill development schemes such as PMKVY, DDU-GKY, UPSDM, or other government/CSR projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, or related field

• Certification in Computer Applications / Hardware / Networking preferred

• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching or training experience, preferably in skill development projects

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, Internet Applications, Digital Literacy, and Basic Troubleshooting

• Good communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage classroom training effectively

• Basic reporting and documentation skills

• Familiarity with government skill development projects is an advantage

• Ability to train candidates from diverse educational backgrounds

• Comfortable with field coordination and reporting requirements
