Job Description: Computer Science Faculty (ICSE & CBSE)

Job Overview-

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and tech-savvy Computer Science Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong logical and coding foundations for middle school students under the ICSE board (Classes 7 to 9) and comprehensively preparing secondary students under the CBSE board (Classes 7 to 10) for both practical application and board assessments.

Key Responsibilities -1. Curriculum Delivery & Board Compliance-

• ICSE Delivery (Classes 7-9): Teach core foundational concepts including Number Systems (Binary, Octal, Hexadecimal conversions), Computer Ethics, Advanced HTML, Database Management Systems (DBMS/MS Access), and introductory algorithmic logic/programming,Java.

• CBSE Delivery (Classes 7-10): Direct classroom instruction covering Computer Applications and Information Technology (IT) curricula.

• Secondary Mastery (CBSE 9-10): Fully prepare Class 9 and 10 students for CBSE board requirements, focusing deeply on HTML/CSS, Cyber Ethics, Networking Concepts, and introductory programming (Python/Scratch) according to the latest CBSE guidelines.

• Manage the mandatory internal assessments, project work, practical files, and Viva-Voce preparation for Class 10 board evaluation.

2. Lab Management & Practical Instruction-

• Conduct regular practical lab sessions to ensure students can translate theoretical concepts into functional code or digital projects.

• Oversee the discipline, safety, and proper maintenance of computer lab equipment during instructional periods.

• Guide students through real-world projects such as basic website creation, spreadsheet automation, and programmatic problem-solving.

3. Assessment & Academic Support

• Design quality question papers, assignments, and periodic test modules aligned with the blueprinting patterns of both the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and CBSE.

• Provide timely constructive feedback on student performance and maintain meticulous records of internal grades.

• Identify students requiring remedial assistance and provide targeted mentorship to ensure conceptual clarity.

·       Key Competencies & Technical Skills -DomainExpected ProficiencyProgramming LanguagesStrong basics in Python, Java, or Scratch/block-based coding.Web DevelopmentProficient in HTML5, CSS, and structural web design layout.Software ApplicationsMastery of Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Advanced Excel/Spreadsheets, MS Access/DBMS, PowerPoint).Core ConceptsSound knowledge of Networking (Topologies, Internet Protocols), Cyber Security, and AI/Emerging Technologies at a school level. Qualifications & Requirements

·       Timings: Tuesday to Friday-3-9pm,Saturday and Sunday-4hrs,weekly off-Monday

• Education:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science / Information Technology OR

• MCA / M.Sc in Computer Science OR

• B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA.

• Experience: Minimum 6 months experience in teaching ICSE/CBSE Board students,Freshers also can apply.

• Language Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English.

• Soft Skills: Patient, approachable, capable of breaking down abstract technical logic into simple, bite-sized concepts for young minds.
