JOB DESCRIPTION

Computer Teacher – Senior Secondary School

School: Al-Hafeez Educational Academy, Sahaswan, District Budaun, Uttar Pradesh

School Status: CBSE Affiliated | Senior Secondary | Classes Nursery–XII

Position: Computer Teacher

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, commensurate with qualification, experience and competency

Eligibility & Professional Qualification

• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications or a relevant computer-related discipline.

• Professional qualification in Computer/IT education such as B.Ed. / equivalent teaching qualification, as applicable under prevailing CBSE/NCTE norms.

• Candidates should meet the qualification requirements applicable to teaching Computer/IT subjects at the relevant classes under current CBSE norms.

• Strong command of Computer Science/IT concepts, programming and practical computer applications.

• Relevant teaching experience in a CBSE school will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Computer Science/Information Technology to students as per the prescribed CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.

• Plan and deliver effective, engaging and age-appropriate classroom lessons.

• Conduct practical classes and ensure effective utilisation of the computer laboratory.

• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, question papers and assessment materials.

• Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board examinations, particularly Classes IX–XII.

• Assess student learning regularly and maintain accurate academic records.

• Provide remedial support to students who require additional academic assistance.

• Integrate technology, digital resources and practical activities into teaching.

• Maintain discipline, punctuality and a positive learning environment.

• Participate in teacher training, workshops, academic meetings and other school activities.

• Coordinate with the Principal and academic team for continuous improvement in students’ learning outcomes.

• Follow all school policies, CBSE guidelines and professional standards.

Experience

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching experience preferred, preferably in a reputed CBSE-affiliated school.
