We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Assistant Professor to teach Cybersecurity and Computer Networking to B.Tech students. The candidate must be a Postgraduate (M.Tech / MCA) with strong fundamentals, practical exposure, and at least 3 years of teaching or industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in:
Computer Networks
Network Security
Cybersecurity Fundamentals
Ethical Hacking Basics
Operating Systems & Linux
Conduct hands-on labs, demonstrations, and practical sessions.
Prepare lesson plans, lab manuals, assignments, and assessments.
Mentor students for projects, internships, competitions, and certifications.
Support curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching methods.
Organize workshops, seminars, and technical training sessions.
Participate in departmental activities, academic events, and accreditation processes.
Required Qualifications
M.Tech (CSE/IT) or MCA – Postgraduate degree is mandatory.
Minimum 3 years of teaching or relevant industry experience.
Strong knowledge of:
Networking (Routing, Switching, TCP/IP, Protocols)
Cybersecurity concepts & tools
Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs
Linux administration
Basic scripting (Python/Bash preferred)
Ability to teach practical, application-oriented concepts to B.Tech students.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Skills
Certifications such as CCNA, CEH, Security+, or equivalent.
Experience with virtual labs, simulation tools, and cybersecurity platforms.
Exposure to cloud security, SOC tools, or digital forensics.
Experience guiding B.Tech projects and mini-projects.
