The Body Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional therapeutic body massage services to clients in accordance with established wellness standards, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines. The role focuses on promoting relaxation, physical well-being, stress relief, and muscle recovery through approved massage techniques while ensuring client comfort, confidentiality, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional body massage therapies such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Relaxation, Aromatherapy, or other approved techniques as per client needs and service offerings

• Conduct brief client consultations to understand health history, preferences, and any contraindications prior to therapy

• Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards before, during, and after treatments

• Ensure a calm, respectful, and professional environment for all clients

• Explain therapy procedures clearly and obtain informed consent before treatment

• Maintain client records, treatment notes, and feedback where required

• Prepare therapy rooms, equipment, oils, and linens before and after each session

• Follow ethical conduct, professional boundaries, and organizational policies at all times

• Report any unusual client reactions, injuries, or health concerns to the supervisor immediately

• Assist in promoting wellness packages and services in a professional manner

• Participate in training, skill upgrades, and performance evaluations as required

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Certification or diploma in Massage Therapy from a recognized institution

• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Professional appearance and courteous behaviour

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical standards

• Physical stamina to perform massage sessions for extended periods

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, if required
